About
Flensburger Brauerei is one of the last country-wide operating breweries not being part of a larger brewery group. The company was founded on September 6, 1888 by five citizens of Flensburg. Today it is still mainly held by the founder families Petersen and Dethleffsen.

Blue flip-top bottle: 33cl, BB 16th Sep 2021. Drank at home on 2nd Feb 2021. Bright golden body, clean and clear, on top a snow white crown which faded slowly to a wisp and collar. Lemon/lemonade like aroma and taste, fairly sweet citrus feel. Seems a lot more lemonade than beer to me, calorie count is good though!

Big 50 for hellerbocks. Comes in with a wheeze. Light mercury and some butter. Raw grain. Not as bad as ratings would have. Really the main issue here is it's boring. Golden amber pour with decent head. Crisp finish. Bottle.

Bottle from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Light to mid-gold and clear. A small layer of white head. Gluey metallic aroma with some lemon and light notes of white grapes. Sweet taste, some light honey, with the lightest bitterness in the long finish. Medium to high carbonation. Not exceptional but decent.

Lighter than I was expecting; Nose is malty, touch of marzipan, caramel, little woody and cereal. Taste is malty, sweet, bread, apple, fruity, hints of cereal, light nut, touch of caramel and spice. Does feel slightly underwhelming.

Bottle. Clear gold, nice one-finger white head. Malt, brown bread, nuts, mild earthiness. Bit of alcohol bite at the finish.

330ml swing-top bottle online from HB&B. Pours clear amber with an off white cap. Aroma: malt, candy sugar, estery hints. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, bread dough, caramel malts. Medium body, light carbonation. Pretty one dimensional tbh

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Getreidiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, leicht malzig, leicht hopfig mit Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
