Can that we picked up directly from the brewery (Marko recommended visiting Zmajska). Had this Friday 13th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Natural Magic - II . Jonas is cooking Pasta Carbonara. Pours dirty purple/red with a fast disappearing head. Smooth, fruity with a careful sourness i.e. this is one of this style that's right up my straße. Juicy, almost a creaminess. Good. Score 7.6

0.5 l can. Thick dark brown, brown head. Aroma is intense cocoa at first, dark chocolate followed by molasses and chared wood. Hints of black pepper and ethanol. After it opens up a little bit hints of dried fruit appear and quite some black cherry. A touch of nougat and toffee with an alcohol-soaked cherry. Full body, sticky, sweet but cocoa trying to dry it out, some bitter astringency in the back, afterwards lots of warmth and peppery ethanol. Flavour is mostly cocoa and chocolate, roasty and toasty notes. Finishes medium dry.

Clear amber pour with a stable white head. Aromas of orange, herbs, grapefruit, some malt and tropical fruits. Taste is Herbs, grapefruit, some tropical fruit. Decent bitter finish as well.

Can, 0.5l. Murky orange pour, one finger creamy white head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, juicy, pineapple, pine, tropical fruits, peach. Grassy notes in the background.
Medium body, medium carbonation, fizzy. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft and chewy, prickly, easily drinkable. Nicely balanced juicy bittersweet taste. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, citrus, pineapple, peach. Grassy notes, light spice. Pine, oats. Light tart lime notes lingering in the background. Malty backbone. Medium lasting finish, dry, tart, juicy. Mild lingering bitterness.

0,3 l can. Pours almost pitch black with a couple of fingers of dark medium lasting brown head. Aroma of dried fruit, raisin, caramel, cocoa, a bit of coffee, toasted malt, a hint of wood and some fusel alcohol. Flavor is more serious, woody, toasted malt, licorice on top of dried fruit Taste is medium to heavy sweet and low bitter. Body is full, texture oily, carbonation average. Finish is long, roasty, somewhat smoky, a bit of alcohol and pleasant bitterness.
