Our focus is on brewing true classics and uniquely crafted beers. Brewed and numbered in small batches. We invite you to join the journey of our beers through different numbered versions of the styles we’re brewing. Our beers evoke the freedom and excitement that comes from embracing the journey and not being constrained by the same old.
Our beers are evocative of classic styles and we plan to offer some unique brews. You’re invited to come on the journey as our styles explore different versions. These are not differences for difference sake, but for the sake of making our beer delicious and utilising the absolute best raw materials we can get a hold of at the time of brewing. We brew in small batches and we want to offer different takes within a given style without constriction. Why have one recipe of any style when you can have literally dozens! It might be a slightly different hop, yeast, grain, water profile or technique. You’ll know which version you are drinking from the Version mark (V.1 | V.2 | V.3…). Life is always moving and changing – and in our view, beer is no different. The two things that we never compromise on are quality and taste.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts but sweet enough for this brew. Hops bring a tingling hop spice along with crisp pine. The citric aspects of the hop delivery are on the light side but nice and bright. A trace of mango before a crisp finish. Quite a breezy IPA and pretty clean for neipa. Very drinkable as well. Get a bit more fruity intensity from the hops and this would be a super duper IPA.

Draught, 1/3 pint at Pint Shop Cambridge. Shared with Finn. Next-to-clear golden body, naked at the top, dotted spots on the glass. Restrained citric fruit aromas. Canned fruity taste, hints of grainy malts. Mid-dry fruity end. Soft on the swallow. Fair enough.(Cambridge 14.11.2021).

Keg pour at Pint Shop, Cambridge. Pours light hazed golden with a white cap. Bread, light citrus, light hoppy notes. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Supposed to be an IPA-Kolsch hybrid, it kinda works

Can from Cambridge Wine Merchants, Kings Parade. Aroma is really quite low key - straining for fruit but getting malt as much as anything else. An hazy orange-brown. Muted light sour with a touch of sweetness. Watered down fruit juice. Gains resinous bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Unimpressed with this one. It's just dull and lacks impact.

Can from Cambridge Wine Merchants, Kings Parade. Aroma had light pine and a sweet peach edge. Golden-orange. A light haze. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Medium bitter. Quite a sharp resinous bitter tang. Sour hints. Underlying cardboard malts. Light bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Enjoyably bitter pale. Albeit the fruits promised by the aroma don't really come through.

Appearance is golden, with a foamy head of around 1 finger. Aroma is grassy hops, spices, lemon and other citrus fruit. Taste is peppery hops, zesty fruit, orange hints, spices, fluffy mouthfeel with a bit of zing, lemon hints in the finish.
