Fles gekregen van Roelzie en Shannon voor ons 25 jarig jubileum. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van kokos. De smaak is fruitig, fris zuur en kokos achtig met een hint rum in de afdronk.

A slightly hazy yellow golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of fresh grassy hops, pale malt, hay, stone fruits. Taste of mid sweet juicy hops, yellow stone fruits, vanilla, yeast.

Bb 30.12.2027. black color, no head. smells spices, vanilla, earthy, cinnamon, coconut, toffee, nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes vanilla, coconut, earthy, peppery, toffee, tobacco, spices. finishes lightly dry and lightly roasty bitter with notes of vanilla, coconur and notes of spices. Nice one overall very pastry forward, barrel not noticable, lacks the complexity of a real ba stout

10/2/2026. Bottle bought direct from the brewery. Pours a little less inspiring than expected. Big aroma. Boozy, toffee, malt, woody, bourbon, vanilla, some spiced orange, and as it warmed a lot more honey than to begin. Taste is sweet, warming. Good body, oily and sticky. Low carbonation. Nice one to sip over a period as it develops.

Can 33 cl. Pours black and syrupy thick with a creamy, neat light brown head leaving some lacework. Lovely aroma of sweet chocolate and vanilla. Rich body, sweet - very sweet - choco/vanilla notes but also a rather od spiciness. A bit of coffee. Warming alcohol. Strats better than it finishes. 090226

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, fatty, syrupy nutty brown with no head and no carbonation. Sweet syrupy, honeyish aroma with an odd, confusing spiciness. Rich, sweet and tart honey accents, some wood and again these odd spices. Somehow reminds me of a mead. More odd than good. 090226
