Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with small tan head. Big coffee aroma, bourbon and vanilla, slightly cloying sweetness. Nice, but a little too sweet.

500ml (thx, Jonathan M.!) at Phill's place. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: coffee, some fruity and light bourbon character. Taste: nice body, very sweet and fruity, coffee. Overall: reminds me KTCYFA non-BA version in the smell, pretty good, but not sure whether I would drink ot again.

Med brown. No head. On the nose, very rich barrel and massive coffee. Quite sweet, lots of bourbon, touch of alcohol. Again, the coffee is pretty huge on this, and that makes it a lot of fun. Viscous and a little bit sticky. Not refined or anything, but sweet and a fun.

500mL bottle, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is loaded with intense coffee, moderate bourbon, and a little roast. Flavour is quite sweet, with sweet coffee, vanilla, moderate bourbon, sugars, and a bit of booze. Intensely sweet, almost cloying. A little too sugar but it's very nice.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty rich and complex, with lots of rye barrels, vanilla beans, and molasses. Flavour is really rich, with vanilla beans, cocoa, black liquorice, and rye barrels. Really inky and thick. Complex and well-crafted, though lacks a bit of refinement. Very tasty.

Dark brown, with a bit of a bubbly head. This has a massive bourbon aroma with some dark sugars. It's got a lot of sugar, sweet bourbon, and a bit of vanilla. Sticky, low carbonation body. This is pretty good quality, I like this.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown color ale with an almost non-existent head with limited carbonation and no lacing. Aroma of unrefined grain malt notes with some rum notes is OK. Taste is a mix of unrefined grain notes with some rum, light oak with some more or less attenuated residual sugar notes. Body is pretty full with almost no carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Not bad but would improve with some clean-up of flavours and more balance.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of tart notes with light citrus notes is enjoyable. Taste is also a mix of tart notes with light oak presence and some clearly identifiable citrus notes with light acidic notes also apparent. Body is light with OK carbonation. Not bad but sour notes could be more complex and funky.
