Bottled
Very dark ruby red, almost opaque, small expresso head. Light metallic aroma of sweat and malts. Roasted, medium-bodied, backed with alcohol. Long bitter coffee taste in the aftertaste.

bottle - Pours with a thin head, fades kind of quickly. Mild, malty aroma. Flavor has some hoppy bitterness, but not as much as most pale ales I’ve had. Fairly clean finish, just leaves a mild aftertaste, but not unpleasant. This brew is okay. I liked their Messiah Bold better though.

bottle - Amusing marketing campaign... I’m going to assume the brewers are Jewish as I’m not sure anyone else could get away with it. Now on to the beer. It’s got a medium head with some legs. Flavor is malty with a dry finish that’s really quite nice. Unlike many here, I like a good brown ale once in awhile and this is a good brown ale. It won’t blow you away, but I don’t think it will disappoint either. Huzzah!

Bottle. Dark amber-brown beer with a nice light brown head. Low malt aroma with some roast. Sweet malt and spice flavor - some roastiness, chocolate - but quite sweet. Just enough hops to notice. 9 malts and 9 hops - it’s definately the malts that add a bit of complexity to this one.

2005 bomber shared with Muzzlehatch on 11/4/05. Ruby/magenta-tinged colors are woven amongst a dark mahogany brown body, supporting a beige head that sits one finger high. Smells of floral hops, toffee and caramel. Rather simplistic, if solidly built aroma with little to no alcohol apparency. The flavor is dry with toffee and burnt caramel. Creme brulee, currants, roasted malt ending bitter and with light toasted white bread. Some chewy licorice and rum raisin flavors. Bitter, rather astringent, dark baker’s chocolate. Lots of dark malts overall, but not TOO bitter. Mouthfeel is significantly less sharp and loose than I would expect for a filtered/force carbonated beer. I wouldnt call it creamy, but it is fairly fluid. Body is medium, with light alcohol warming dryness, but no fusels that I can detect. Graham cracker sweetness softens the roast and chocolate.

Another sample from Brad the beer guy. This is an unrefined and rough beer. It has ample alcohol, hops, and a nice port aroma. I suspect it will smooth out after some aging. Worthwhile.

Not much here. A standard brown ale, mildly sweet. Well carbonated. Very faint roasted flavor.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Amber, slightly hazy with a nice, creamy head. The different hops make this an excessively bitter hebrew. Apart from the hoppiness I believe this is lacking in character.

Black with a small brown head. Kinda stinky; thick malty aroma, and not a really pleasant one. Taste is thick, rich, and malty. No aftertaste... no really tastes at all, it’s just... there. Oily in the mouth. Not bad, not great.

Dark ruby-brown with a big beige head. Hoppy aroma with some malt backing. Cocoa flavors with some spicey hops. Well balanced and easy to drink with lingering cocoa and malt.
