12 oz bottle purchased as part of beers of summer 10 pack at World Market. Pours with some seetling as hazed copper brownish. One inch off white head falls quick with sticky lacing. Aroma of grainy caramel sweet malt with a toasty breadiness. Small amount of floral. Taste is the toasty bready malt with the semi-sweet caramel. A bit of grass in the finish. As it warms, some iced tea crystal malt and light diacetyl comes out, detracting a bit. Palate is medium bodied, clean, quick finish. ( 6,4,5,3,12 - 3.0)

Bottle. Pours is fairly deep brown, with some nice layering. Hop aroma and taste, but nothing too overpowering. Get some malt in the finish. Well made beer, but nothing out of the ordinary. ( 5,3,6,3,13 - 3.0)

Bomber. Pour is amber with a big, foamy head that lasted a long time. Hoppy aroma. Taste is hop and heavy malt. Finish almost has a scotch ale feel to it (not sure if thats the rye or not), pretty complex. I would rate this beer higher, but the booziness was overpowering for me, way to much alcohol presence in the finish.

Quite dark brown in colour. Big, rich aroma with molasses and buckwheat honey showing through. Thick, chewy, molassesy, lightly raisiny character. Sweet, a bit soft, and not showing any alcohol. A bit unfocused, as can be expected with so many ingredients, but a tasty drop nonetheless.

Standard amber colour. Fairly malty, alcoholic aroma. Fairly strong malty taste, with light caramel and a hint of alcohol. Didn’t get any pomegranate. Nor anything else distinguishing...really dull for a big-ass beer.

22oz bomber. I had this about a month ago at Brewtopia. I liked it but it was definitely too young then. Originally I got strong alcohol and lots of pruniness. This bottle is very different. I have noticed with some of Hebrew’s special releases that the bottles change very quickly, who knows what will happen in a month. Now back to the point. Pours almost black but upon closer examination its more like the darkest possilble color ruby without becoming exclusively black. Aroma is strong, surprisingly lots of hops, something I dont remember before. Lots of pine hoppiness, actually I would think this is a Stone beer if I didnt know better. Slight roastiness and coffee in the background. the taste is nice as well, a good presence of bitter hop (slightly piney and very slightly citrusy). That pruniness has really subsided into a sweet raison-like flavor coming out in the aftertaste. Nice slight sweetness all around. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Medium to strong bitterness, alcohol slightly detectable. As I drink this I am reminded of some hoppy imperial stout.

Bottle. Blackish beer with ruby tints and a low off-white head. Rich malt, raisin, light roast aroma. Creamy mouthfeel takes away something - too much random malt added. Rich malt, mollasses, toffee flavor with dried druit and some backing citrus hops. Could use more time to mellow. Alcohol present.

Dark amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma of hops and sweet malts though none are very strong. The taste is mostly bitter with a slight sweetness (notes of butterscotch, lemon, caramel). The sweet malts do not come near complimenting the bitter aftertaste. In fact, the flavors are far from complimentary. Medium body, sticky texture. The alcohol reveals itself at the end.

Pour is a almost brown but more a deep dark red with a huge white head. Aroma is enticing with lots of oily hops, molasses and a nutty smell to it. Flavor is again excellent. Lots of hops with some dark fruits and a strong malt (maybe the rye) presence. Very tasty and very easy to sip on as the alcohol does not get in the way. Hop heads will like it and non hop head should give it a try,

Bottle pours a very clear deep redish copper with a large creamy light tan head. Lots of stong carmely malts and bitter hoppy notes. Flavor is about what I expected. Rich thick malt flavors and lots of bitterness. Late woody almost cardboardy aftertaste. Very thick heavy palette. Long lingering bitterness. Another 10% beer from HeBrew
