Bomber purchased at Beverage Castle in Tampa. Pours deep amber with weak light brown head. Right out of the frig the aroma was light. As it warmed I get roasted malts, caramel, hints of dark fruitiness and concentrated grape juice. The flavor begins with some roasted malts, sweet molasses, hints of chocolate and caramel that have all softened with age and seem to blend together. Soon after dark fruitiness and grape fruit juice enter the picture and join the malts as the finish to the beer sip experience approaches. Then the roasted malts, molasses and hints of dark chocolate over run the fruitiness and linger for a while. Another very tasting offering.

Aroma of fruit and malt. Must be pomegranate. Amber color with reddish hints - almost coppery. The vanished head was white. Starts carbonated, a bit tart, fruit flavor, followed by malt. Body is a bit thin. Then the mouth is mixed with fruit, tartness and malty sweetness. A bit malty. A bit carbonated. Not betting much bitter. Very interesting fruit ale.

Bottle: Dark brown color with ruby tones, a modest beige head. Nose is fruity, malty, and sweet. Some brown sugar? The taste is rich with citrus hops, dark fruits, a little more brown sugar, wine, and a heavy malt finish. I really enjoyed this brew. Thanks Jordan.

Bottle pours a dark amber with a small light tan head. Big full sweet dark malts with moderate hoppy bitterness. Lots of ballanced flavor of rich sweet malt and just enough offsetting hops. Full palatte and moderate carbonation. Wouldn’t have guessed 10%, hidden well. Nice. thanks Jordan.

Amber coloured/orange body with a very thin white head. Aroma of rye, fruits, cherries, hops, pomme (of course from knowing it) and raisins. Medium-bodied; Rye flavours up front with alcohol and raisins noticeable. A strong and very gross flavour throughout. Overall, not such a great beer - good for Jewish people if they have to drink it, but othewise - not worth drinking. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Vienna, Virginia on 18-May-2007.

An orange amber ale with a thin white head. A pleasant aroma of caramel, vinous notes, figs, raisins. In mouth, a sweet malt with nice vinous raisiny notes, intense hops, grapefruits and warming alcohol. Tasted at "Montréal YeHA! Party 2006" . Dec. 16 2006. Bottle from ProbstK from BOTW.

Bomber; Nose is sweet with definate pomegranate aroma; I used to pick and chew these this often as a kid during the eight years I lived in Sacramento. Slightly hazy rust colored with a medium, but shortlived beige head; flavor is bitter caramel with tem pomegranate fruitinessand a little alcohol and bitterness in the finish!

I’m not sure if I care for the name of this brew. On tap at the Vintage Estates Wine & Beer. Pour has a big big foamy head. It eventually settles to one eighth inch tan head. Clear orangish color. It has an aroma that is strongish, like you better get ready for what is coming. The flavor is quite hoppy bitter, like a tremendous amount of grapefruit peels being chewed in my mouth. You can taste the alky - overwelming malty and hoppy. However, this lacks some of the hoppyness I was expecting for a double IPA. Not real impressed with this brew but I never was an IPA lover. Has a little carbonation that I am thankful for. This rye based IPA seems more malty than hoppish. This is overall more than my delicate girlie taste buds can handle.
