Roast and dark chocolate. Black pour with good head. Bitter finish. Good balance and good beer. Easy drinking and solid session porter. Up there in DC area with Port City Porter, though I give that one a slight notch up on subtle balance. Light bitter finish with aftertaste of milk. Bottle.

Crystal clear, golden coloured body with a nice, smallish, single centimetre to perhaps two tall pure white head that fades quickly and leaves nothing up top. Aroma of grass, light citrus, some fresh-cut grass and a tiny bit of herbal elements, all without any alcohol or malt to speak of, at least in the nose. Light-bodied; Very sharp pungent grassy and light grapefruit note coming through with a distinct malt that has some bitterness and a touch of a metallic and pungent yeast bite that hits towards the end. Aftertaste shows some very grassy and herbal components with some dry grain, a touch of hay and flowers and a yeastie, slightly bitter malt note with a kick from the metal and slightly astringent yeast, malt and biscuity notes. Overall, a nice and fresh, slightly grassy lager with a good hit from the hops on all sides that shows a complex and flavourful profile without being pungent, bitter or too depe. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-July-2020 for US$3,32 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-September-2020.

Draft pour at the Tides Inn in Virginia. Poured a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light, plesant hops with a ton of grain. Smooth, not too grassy, just a hint, with a nice grain character finish.

Super deep, amazingly bright ruby and pure red coloured body, just like cherry juice, very nice - all with a thinnish, pure pink and still somehow almost red tinted head, about a single centimetre tall, with the entire product about 80 per cent opaque - beautiful, for sure. Aroma of bright tart cherry juice, with a lot of pure sweetness and other fruit scents right behind, like cranberries, light pears and apples and a bunch more deep cherries - very nice. Medium to somehow almost Full-bodied; Strong cherry flavours draw in some tart notes and a lot of sweetness and then show some malt and wheat notes in the centre with a deepr, robust profile that all ends in a very nice, super sweet cherry juice flavour - with some tartness as well. Aftertaste is really rich with the malt somehow stronger than the deep cherry juice and sweetness right behind with a light tartness and dry quality, but this really is about the great balance between bunches of malts and tart cherries. Overall, a very nice beer that I would have expected from my home state of Michigan, just not here in Virginia. That said, it was very nice and deeply tart and fruity with a good malt backbone that shows almost to a full-bodied stature with all the tart and sweet fruits, as well. Very nice and well worth trying to find, no matter what time of the year it is, especially if you are from Michigan or cherry country, this beer is very nice! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washignton on 11-July-2020.

16oz can, slightly hazy sunset orange, creamy white head.  Nose has passionfruit, grapefruit, oranges, soap.  Flavor has malt, honey, orange, grapefruit.  Tropicals are gone.  Full bodied, bitter finish.  A bit overdone.  7 4 7 3 13

Bottle brought back from the US given to me as a present with a 5.6% volume. Golden with a small head. Dense textured brew, full-bodied with its strength evident enough, but the ale's hoppiness is more than apparent too. It's pale ale style is at its most evident in its aroma, and there's a hint of fruit in it.

16oz can, purchased from a local Trader Joe's. Poured a very dark ruby red color, a bit like blood, thick like it too. Pink/red, small but foamy head. Aroma was like fresh squeezed cherry juice. Tasted like I was eating a bowl of cherries, everything but the stem and pit. Pleasant, light tartness to it.
