Есть шоколад, орешки, ощущается кленовый сироп на фоне. Немного алкашки выпирает на финише. Но очень хороший портер.

Wow, interesting. Some bright pithy citrus or something, cotton candy. Berries. Cocoa. Strange, fun in a way.

Can split at CBJ, from HOTM online, 25/03/2026.
Black with a khaki head that veers to the edge.
Nose is roast malts, chocolate, charr, dried fruit rinds.
Taste comprises brown sugar melt, perfume, mellow rum notes, molasses.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze.
Okay sipper but the Emperor hype never quite arrives for me ... a touch overly sweet and lacking barrel presence.

Stingy, heavy and woody with loads of dry earthiness, roastiness, coffee and rye barrel. A bit unbalanced and heavy

330ml can. Pitch black with the thinnest of tan heads. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, bourbon. Taste is very rich, chocolate, coconut, bourbon, oak, honey, liquorice, boozy warmth. Full bodied, smooth. Not convinced the BA did anything to improve but fantastic stout either way.
