Description
A long time ago, in a brewery far, far away....a keen home brewer had a dream to produce the greatest Imperial Stouts and Porters the galaxy had ever seen. That dream is Emperor's Brewery...and it is fully operational!

This will be a day long remembered...

Moved to co-locate with Bang The Elephant in Langley Mill in 2024.

Canned output is contract brewed at Dugges in Sweden.

Nose is more like Neapolitan ice cream, with strawberry and vanilla chocolate accents, taste turns blueberry with vanilla lactose sweetness, sweet chocolate, vanilla flakes, medium plus body, sweet lingering dark malty into the close.

Interceptor
On tap at the Bear, Paddington on 8th August 2025. Sepia black with almost no foam or lace. Intense chocolate, maple syrup and pecan nuts throughout drinking experience. An especially long finish. Thick, tarry mouthfeel and a full body.

Pours like Castrol GTX with no head.
Espresso aroma.
Full bodied, smooth oily & clean.
Nutty, malt, coffee, liquorice & digestive tastes with a fruity berry finish.

14/6/2025. Can from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours black with a tan coloured head. Aroma is deep dark chocolate, roasted malts, roasted coffee, maple syrup, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Long bitter roasted finish. Quite enjoyable.

14/6/2025. Can from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours black with a short lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet peanut butter, jelly jam, raspberry, blackcurrant, turkish delight, perfume, fuzzy felt. Sweet with a strange bitterness. Quite full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Overpowering and hard to enjoy.
