Description
Seth Wood, our Brewmaster and co-owner, has over ten years of experience in making beer and perfecting his craft. The result is our farmhouse style beers- saisons, barrel aged ales, award-winning sour ales and lagers, all passionately crafted on site and in small batches. The beers are reminiscent of the Old Country- France, Belgium, Germany, and will make you think and feel of simpler times. Cheers!

Bottle from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry and consumed at home Friday (yes I am at home on a Friday) 24th August 2018 Pours a very hazy light amber with a slim white head. The barrel ageing is immediately apparent and a sniff really zip zaps the nostrils but then softens. Fruity, tangy and quite sharp, the base saison is never far away but this is clearly an experiment in ageing and whilst I've had better saisons, I've probably not had many better BA versions. Very nice. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Hazy paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tart winey lemon, little sherbet. Mild seltzer. Light finish. Nice enough, not sure I could drink loads.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours translucent coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is mildly sourish pale stone fruit. Med body or so. Flavor is mildly sourish pale stone fruit (apricot? peach?) with a touch of astringent oak. Only lightly acidic. A very approachable sour, but not a beginner sour. Good stuff.
