The most pale purple. A little bit of sweetness on the palate, with a bit off fruit. It's decent.

200mL bottle, pours a clear pale pink, no head. Nose is full of rosehips, mint, and berries, with no perceptible honey character—plenty of booze too. Flavour is fairly sweet and boozy, with lots of red berries, a saccharine-like sweetener character, gentle mint, and generic herbal notes. What an interesting beverage—would never have guessed this was mead, just some boozy liqueur-like drink. Interesting.

Poured from 200mL bottle (lot 13? I think; purchased July 2025 from Pommier Ranch). Mostly clear yellow gold with no head. Very nutty wood aroma, taste is earthy nutty wood with soft sweet honey underlay, light background bitterness from the juniper and rowan berries. Unique, not my cup of tea, but the best of the Pommier Ranch offerings. Would be good to mix in cocktails.

Ok this smells like paint. That's some ester action right there. On the palate, not great. The paint isn't as powerful on the aroma. Finishes dry, but without any flavour development at all.

200mL bottle, pours a clear blonde. Aroma has soft floral honey and gentle seltzery notes. Flavour has mostly fermented out honey, gentle floral notes, and soft seltzery notes. Never been a fan of drier meads, and this doesn’t change my mind, but it’s not bad.

Poured from 200mL bottle (lot 12; purchased July 2025 from Pommier Ranch). Clear pale blonde with no head. Soft floral honey, fairly watery, clean, super basic.

Pale, with slight haze. Sort of a basic mead aroma, and on the palate it's got some odd notes, like, ok it's been described as urinal puck and there is some chemical. Also some apple, and a touch of honey.

200mL bottle, pours a clear pale golden, no head. Nose has some urinal puck, light ginger, and a touch of honey. Flavour has watered down ginger, some urinal puck, and apple core. Almost no depth, just a sad, sad beverage. Poor.

Poured from 200mL bottle. Chill hazed white blonde with super minimal white head. I think these meads just don't hold up with time (I gave a quick tick rating during a private tasting of fresh batch with the brewer on untapped of 3.5 which was probably generous, but this is nothing like what I tried). A bit phenolic, feint honey, even feinter apple, bleh.

200mL bottle. Pours clear blonde with a minimal white head. Smells like a urinal puck, but with more honey. Flavour has thin honey, bitter apple skins, and a sterile urinal puck quality that persists.
