pour is a motor oil black with almost no head. Aroma is a minor roasted malt but there is a nice follow up bitter bakers chocolate. Flavor is again a minor roasted malt but a lot more of the vanilla comes out in the flavor. I did not get much coffee other than a roasted bitterness but the malt and vanilla more than make up for the lack of coffee. This was a fine impy stout with just enough bitterness to counter act the sweetness.

16oz can pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has... Well... Not much, honey, marigolds, dandelion, sun tea. Flavor is sweet with honey, sweet tea, flower petals. Finishes watery and a touch sweet.

Some roast and light walnut aroma. A good Missouri beer. Soft raw grain aroma. Light chocolate. Velvet texture. Nice smooth, easy drinking beer. Tap at Springfield airport.

9th July 2016: can at the RBESG, traded from Greg Wilson, via me. Light haze to the deep amber/brown body, on top a beige crown. The nose and taste both had a caramel, coffee and chocolate leaning but this was not a sweet brew, it had a some dry bitterness throughout, especially in the finish.

Pour is a clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is pretty much all basil. No real malt or hop but plenty of basil in spades. Flavor is again all basil with the hops and malt covered up by all the basil used. While basil gives the beer something different this is a one trick pony with the basil covering up any other flavor component.
