Description
Fat Head's was founded in 1992 as a premiere craft beer tap house and restaurant in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2009 we expanded to Ohio and teamed up with our award-winning Head Brewmaster Matt Cole. With the explosion in popularity came the necessity to open a full-scale production brewery in 2012. Fat Head's Brewery produces original ales and lagers for distribution throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
Our Tap House offers Samples, Flights, and Fresh-brewed Pints! Sit right in the heart of our facility and enjoy the freshest beer from our tanks to your pint glass. We have a 16 tap draft system, bar seating, picnic tables, and some seriously tasty grub to go with it.

Dark amber with a huge foamy head. Sweet and tangy with a cacophony of hops - herbal, earthy, leafy, piney, fruity and tropical. Hop flavors come in waves with each sip. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Clear orange-gold pour with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lace. Resiny hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with a dank hoppy character with notes of citrus, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pour is typical hefe, cloudy orange body with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is a pretty vibrant banana and clove ester. Flavor is more banana and bubble gum sweetness with a chewy wheat malt backbone. This was one of the better Hefe's I've tried in a while. Very flavorful. Probably what a hefe in Germany would taste like right out of the cask.

Can from Libery Beer in Pittsburgh. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Bright tangerine, pine and grapefruit aromas on the nose. Bit of earthiness, gooseberry and more grapefruit and pine on the palate. Great DIPA.
