De brouwerij bestond onder de naam Artois sinds 1717 toen Sébastien Artois (1680-1727) de oude Leuvense brouwerij Den Hoorn overkocht. In 1988 kwam het tot een fusie van Artois met Brouwerij Piedbœuf. De groep kreeg de naam Interbrew.

Bottle from Home Bargains, Manchester. Clear raspberry-red colour. Very sweet with its fruit, probably at overbearing levels for some.

Bottle. Goldeny orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some nectary and some mild alcohol tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild alcohol tones too. Mild spiciness to it.

Pale yellow color with the typical European hop aroma. Taste is moderately spicy hop with a crisp, dry finish. Lasting hop bitterness.

Tap at La Stua Arzignano, very expensive 6.50 for a 0.4, whatever. Presents itself very classy, crystal clear golden body with a solid white head. Flavor relatively intense of grany pale malts, macro-style lagery feel and hops profile, solid body, bit heavier than usual. Flattish taste, dry finish. Ok, robust, clean.

The aromas are sweet tart apple cider with a hint of wine. Flavors are similar to nose, more tart up front with a slightly sweet finish and add in a bit of bubble gum. Not bad not great.
