Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some toffee notes with discreet residual sugar notes and some dry Cognac barrel-aged notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with some toffee notes and some residual sugar notes with some dry Cognac notes with light oak presence with some light candy like notes also discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Solid barleywine with good level of complexity.

Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with some toffee notes and some residual sugar notes with some bourbon notes with vanilla and woody notes with some light candy like notes also discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Solid barleywine with good level of complexity.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large foamy head with good retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of nice floral coffee notes with some lactose and black chocolate notes. Taste is a nice mix of sweet chocolate with some floral latte notes. Body is super smooth with some nice creamy notes and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Solid pastry stout with great balance and great texture.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit notes with some juicy hoppy floral undertones is quite enticing. Taste is also a good mix of tropical fruit notes with some juicy hoppy floral notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Very solid NEIPA with nice juicy tropical flavours.

Can: Poured a golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention with some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with resinous notes and some bitterness. Taste is also a good mix of resinous hops notes with some citrusy notes with a bitter and dry finish. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Solid West Coast style IPA with great drinkability.

Aromes de biscuit au chocolat sur une base de Bourbon dégageant également des houblons tropicaux et des esters de fruits confits, du caramel, du toffee, du pain toasté ainsi que de subtiles notes épicées. Complexité olfactive remarquable. Mousse beige assez crémeuse et bien persistante sur un liquide ambré délicatement voilé. L’attaque est bien caramélisée, réchauffante, laissant entrevoir des fruits tropicaux bien présents, un toffee bien assumé et une finale chaleureuse et épicée. L’équilibre est plutôt malté bien que les saveurs de houblons soient bien présentes et intégrées. Des esters rappellent les fruits confits et les cerises au marasquin. Aucune agressivité dans l’alcool très bien intégré et mettant les saveurs de Bourbon tout en toile de fond. La finale est moyennement sèche, alliant sucre, amertume, alcool et épices à la perfection. Le corps est bien rond et onctueux, la carbonatation juste suffisante. Un nectar! Un des meilleurs BW que j’ai bu à date. O:9.302 V:4.095 G:8.395 C:4.875 G:18.083 T:44.75

Aromes de toasté et de pain brun composent un olfactif plutôt malté. Perception de chocolat passé date nous donne un petit côté désagréable. Mousse beige et assez crémeuse, bonne persistance. Liquide ambré foncé, presque brun, tout à fait limpide et effervescent. En bouche, c’est du pain grillé, toasté, de la croute de pain multigrain avec un coté fruité clair qui relève des notes de cerises et de fruits confits. Les houblons sont épicés et légèrement herbacés et procurent à la finale une douce amertume. Présence de notes de chocolat doux et sucré. La finale est légèrement sucrée et traine une douce amertume. Le corps présente une amplitude modérée sur une texture douce et veloutée. Tout à fait délicieuse malgré la petite odeur désagréable perçue en olfactif qui heureusement ne se répète pas en bouche. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with nice cereal notes and subtle residual sugar notes. Taste is also a good mix of caramelized malt notes with some clean cereal notes and some light residual sugar notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable lager and a style that should be brewed more often.
