Olfactif aux éléments de torréfaction en évidence, surtout le café, mais aussi des arômes de noisettes grillées. Liquide noir et opaque sur lequel se dépose une mousse de tailles moyenne semi-crémeuse et assez persistante. En bouche, c’est corpulent, bien torréfié avec une finale très sèche et assortie d’une amertume légèrement âpre. L’avoine est bien perçue, augmentant la richesse du corps et rajoutant des notes de noisettes grillées. Une légère pointe fruitée rajoute à la complexité. L’équilibre des saveurs est bon. Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with some barrel-aging notes. Taste is mix of roasted malt with some black chocolate notes with no residual sugar notes with some strong woody notes with some barrel-aged notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation and some perceptible alcohol notes. Enjoyable but barrel-aging notes are a bit strong and finish is quite dry.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with huge black chocolate notes is quite nice. Taste is mix of roasted malt with some huge black chocolate notes with hints of residual sugar notes and subtle vanilla notes. Body is full with good carbonation and no perceptible alcohol notes. Very enjoyable stout with black cholate really standing out.
