Looks like cola, tastes like a mediocre dark lager - oh, wait, I guess that’s what it is - anyway, the odd thing about this beer is that it kind of tastes like the jever pilsner with caramel and chocolate flavors added to it - not a very good experience.

Rundes, lecker bitteres Bier! 8/9/10/10/9/10

Clear golden color, with medium white head - grassy aroma, with moderate hop presence - fuller mouthfeel than expected for the style, yet still light and refreshing - just the right amount of light malts to balance out the crispy hops and slight herbal qualities of the beer - extra-dry, peppery finish - tasty and quenching.

Blond color; nice lace. Some hop aroma, quite nice. The taste has a grain character, not enough malt. Long and strong bitterness but not as much aromatic as the aroma suggested.

A yellow beer with a fine dense head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of honey, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and a very bitter end. Quite nice for a pilsener.

A dark brown beer with a fine chocolate brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, licorice, straw, and malt. The flavor is grainy sweet with notes of caramel, nuts, and hints of licorice. It has a very bitter end both coming from bitter hops and roasted malt. A very nice Schwarzbier.

Bottled
Golden lager color. Creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy but a bit skunky. Taste is hops and corned hops. Aftertaste has a nice hoppy bitter. This is like a cheap imitation of Pilsner Urquell. Needs to be rerated fresh and tapped.
Re-rated, bottled
Propably fresher sample. Golden color, beautiful white tight creamy head. Woody and leafy hop aroma. Medium-bodied. Balanced grassy hopped, oaky notes. Soft bitter aftertaste. Very good imitation of Urquell. (7/3/7/4/14 3.5)

John Cleese in the deadly joke sketch: Zis is not funny!
Now that I got that of my chest I can start rating the beer: Cardboardy wort is well hidden behind a sheet of fresh dry hop aroma. Golden, quite low on carbonation, lowish yet creamy head. Wort is more evident in the flavor, but is balanced nicely with dry hops. Lightbodied of course, but with a nice prickling mouthfeel and a dry finish. Not the worst NA out there.

Slight bitterhop aroma. Golden, low carbonation, big lacing head. Bad hay and cardboard flavor, not quite as much dry bitterhop as expected. Light body, watery exit.
