Description
Residing in our 17th century barn has been much like our ethos on sustainability, determined to bring our brewery to life co-existing with the land and infrastructure already in place, to evolve as if we had always been here.

Good Things has created the most sustainable brewery we have seen, creating our own power, pulling our own water from beneath the ground outside the brewery doors. Turning spent brewers grain in to beautiful flour, delivering beer in our electric van & very soon treating all our own waste on site.

Until...

Good Things Brewing Co. of Tunbridge Wells changed name and turned to a roaming brewery in the summer of 2021, when tragedy struck and their brewery was destroyed in a lightning storm.

But…

In 2026, Allkin is becoming nothing less than a new model for hospitality, where community is the heartbeat, not the afterthought.

From our farm at Oakridge we are building more than a brewhouse, bakehouse, roastery, its a space that regenerates people, place, and planet.

A place where run clubs, cycle meets, banquets, live music, and chef led feasts bring people together. A place where belonging comes first, and business flows naturally from connection.

Through to Allkin by the Sea, a once in a lifetime venue opportunity that will bring over 10,000 monthly footfall from day one.

All set to open in Q2 2026.

Cloudy golden beer, white head. Smells zesty with a bit of grapefruit and grassy hop. Flavour has bitter lemon, grapefruit, grassy hop, a bit of stone fruit, a little sweetness underneath. Not bad. Crisp and fresh and pretty drinkable.

500ml can. Opaque yellow, stupidly large white head. Aroma of pithy citrus, pineapple, mango. Taste is extremely hoppy for a pale ale, loads of pineapple, mango, very pithy citrus. Medium bodied but overcarbonated - it's very fizzy.

Can from Low Cost Beer. A hazy golden/yellow/orange coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, grapefruit, orange, mango, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Slightly sweet but very tasty IPA even though 6 weeks past its drink by date. Real shame this brewery is no more, they made good quality beer.

Keg draught at the Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Light yellow, hazy with a fluffy white head. Light, sweet aroma: melon and pineapple mixing with some soft vanilla. Taste is mostly sweet, but there's some hoppy bitterness right at the end. Lemon zest and tamarind in the aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Pretty damn good.
