Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur wat nootachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, chocolade en caramel achtig. Met een toffee achtige afdronk.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before June 2030. Slightly hazy, very dark ruby to black with a large, dense, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit fruity-resiny aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, blueberry and a touch of maple. Very sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and maple, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, a bit warming finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Don't really get the pancake but quite some maple and it's a pleasant sipper anyway. Quite tasty, maybe a bit one-dimensional.
