Cask at the Four Candles, St Peters, 25/08/23. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grass, melon, hint of papaya, orange zest. Taste comprises tangerine, light breads, melon, soft malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Tidy enough cask pale.

Cask @ Four Candles, Broadstairs. Golden with a small bubbly head. Mildly hoppy session ale but not too aspiring. Maltier in nose.

Gravity dispense at the Four Candles, 13/05/23. Golden pour with a good sized lasting just off white head. Nose is stewed fruits, orange peel, grass, toasted malts. Taste comprises caramel, soft malts, tangerine, bready notes, grass, hedgerow. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Decent easy drinking cask affair.

Gravity cask at The Four Candles, Broadstairs, 17/03/23. Extremely dark mhaogany brown with a decent beige crown. Nose is dark malts, hint of orange peel and tropical fruit backnotes, dusty hops, charr, cocoa powder. Taste comprises chocolate sprinkle, dusty hops, mellow roast, charr, citric backnotes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Solid hoppy porter.

Gravity dispense at the Four Candles, Broadstairs, 07/10/22. Copper to amber pour with a good sized off white crown. Nose is fruit slice, toffee, grains, biscuit. Taste comprises biscuit malt, nutty, toffee, dried fruit rinds, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a light bitter edge. Tidy bitter.

Taste comprises earthy fruits, herb, toffee, biscuit, hedgerow. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter green hopped edge. Decent.

Taste comprises lemon rinds, grass, tangerine, light breads, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Decent cask pale.

Gravity dispense at the Four Candles, Broadstairs, 07/10/22. Clear golden with a just off white cap that veers to a swirl. Nose is orange peel, straw, grains, hint of caramel. Taste comprises candied orange peel, light breads, grains, trace of perfume, straw, lemon rind. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with a modest bitter edge. Fine.

Nose is mellow roast, dried fruit rinds, light charr, pinch of spice, dark malts, herb. Taste comprises cocoa powder, dark malts, dark fruit rinds, spice, dusty hop notes, herb. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Decent.
