Gravity cask at the Four Candles Brewpub, 19/06/21. Clear golden with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, light caramel, grass, floral notes, herb. Taste comprises orange peel, light floral notes, grains, caramel, noble hop element, light herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine.

Gravity cask at the Four Candles, 21/05/21. Extremely dark mahogany brown to light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is mellow roast, toffee, dried fruits, hint of sweetness. Taste comprises toffee, light charr, cocoa sprinkle, raisins, subtle roast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy drinking cask stout.

Gravity cask at the Four Candles, 21/05/21. Clear golden with a decent white covering that dissipates to a swirl over time. Nose is orange zest, melon, light bready tones, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises orange peel, toasted grains, crackers, grass, melon, light strokes of minerality. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Decent.

Gravity cask at the Four Candles, 21/05/21. Clear golden blonde with a well appointed white cap of thinly knit bubbles. Nose is melon, tangerine, grass, light piney nip. Taste comprises melon, lemon rind, citric tinged straw, orange zest, grass, airy malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a good level of balanced hop bitterness. Solid cask pale ... could quaff lots of this.

[ As Four Candles Hazelnut Porter ].
ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, sour malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, hazelnut, roasted, sour malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180802]

4.5% chinook citra mosaic comet. Cask gravity at Four Candles St Peter's. Clear pure gold colour lasting white head. big hoppy pale ale. lots of citrus pine good bitterness on the finish. good though.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet 2019. Hazy brown red best bitter colour lasting beige head. Quite a hoppy bitter. Malty. Best bitter. Fairly close to the East Kent Bitter but slightly better

4.1% Cask gravity at Thomas Tallis Canterbury. Clear gold colour thin white head. good tropical fruit. solid golden ale from Four Candles. ok carbonation decent condition. easy drinking well balanced gilde ale with some hoppy bitter kick on the finish. good.
