Brown color. Some malt and pine. Thin palate, but the pine is there. Good flavor, but not quite up to Alba Pine. They pulled it off well. Thanks to Bob for sharing.

From Skyview’s growler. Bitter, grassy hops. Orange color. Thin white head and light red color. A session beer with very low bitterness, not bad at all for what it is.

On tap at the H&H in Cranberry. Apearance is brownish orange, can’t see much red as in the description. No head, just a tea froth top. Has a fruity beer aroma similar to most of the H&H brews. Decent carbonation. On the palate it is rather light at first then it begins to have a bitter build thru the session. More malt and not too much hop. Finish has a medium low bitter malt aftertaste that hangs for a while. Certainly does not possess the attributes of most octoberfests including H&H’s mainstay, a nice variation on the style.

Typical H&H background beer aroma, you know, just plain good ol beery. Just a hint of stout smell. Black with a red tinge. Nice tasting stout, it has more carbonation than I expected and I welcome that. Good roasty flavors; fun, fresh and friendly. Much better than I expected, pleasantly surprised! May be my best H&H to date!
