On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet wheat, light fruits and a bit of spice. Flavor is similar with sweet wheat throughout with underlying notes of light fruits and spices.

On tap at Blue Tractor. Pours a clear brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong roasted malts with a bit of dark grain and bitter chocolate. Flavor is similar with growing strong roasted malts complimented by bitter chocolate.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a light citrus hop note with a decent amount of light wheat and a hint of clove. Flavor has light wheat and fruits up front with a growing light citrus hop note.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of rye with a hint of sweet earthy grains, hay and just a hint of bitter hops. Flavor has sweet grains and hay up front with just a bit of underlying rye and pine hops. A bit thin.

Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Medium brown body with orange highlights, thin cream head. Rye nose with hints of sarsaparilla. Medium body, not too tart, not too sweet.

Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewer’s Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Medium orange body. Fruity, grainy rye in the nose and body; cerealy, sweet and bitter; modestly hoppy. Catty aftertaste in the finish. Well-balanced.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a hazy yellowish gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet wheat with a bit of backing light fruit and light flora. Flavor is slightly perfumey with light flora and fruits backed by a light sweet wheat note.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet dark grains with some sweet chocolate with a hint of rye. Flavor is similarly sweet with dark grains and chocolate with only a hint of rye in the finish. A bit sweet.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale bronze/orange with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grain with a bit of wheat and a backing bitterness. Flavor has a nice combination of sweet grains, caramel and a nice bitterness that balances the beer.

Tap @ Blue Tractor. Cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a white head. Still, citrusy, light wheat malty aroma. Pretty rich wheat malty, orange citrusy flavor with a slightly boozy finish.
