Cask, at the brewpub. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a small, white head. The aroma has a good dash of citrus zest, with peach notes, pine cones and resin. There’s hints of malt in the flavour, a nice bitterness too, else it’s the same hoppy citrus, peach and pine as on the nose. It’s dry, full-bodied and smooth on the palate. Long dry, citrusy and bitter finish. Quite lovely this one. Quenching too. 150615

On tap at the brewpub. It’s a hazy golden colored beer with a white finger thick head. The aroma has banana, a generic fruityness, some pale malts and white sugar, with spice hints. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, dealing with the sugary, malty sweetness. A good dash of fruit too, and some pine cones. It’s full bodied and quite dry on the palate, and there’s a lasting finish. A decent one, but lacking a bit on complexity. 150615

On tap at the brewpub. Light hazy, golden body under a finger thick white head. Banana, some dusty barn and lemon hints in the aroma. The flavor has a nice bitterness to deal with the sweetness and banana. There’s also some alcohol flavor and warmth, it’s full bodied and nicely carbonated. Long fruity finish with a touch of banana. Not a favorite. Lacking on most things I’d expect from a saison or even a rye beer, and the banana is misplaced. 150615

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown in the glass, with a tan finger thick head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate and coffee grit. It’s dry and full bodied with a roasted malt kind of bitterness, roasted malts, some dark chocolate and coffee. Long roasted finish. Nice, a tad too roasted though. 150615

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear amber body topped by a small dense off-white head. The aroma has fruit caramel and some toffee, both quite weak. Generic fruityness too. Decent bitterness in the flavor, with fruits and caramel. Medium to full body, nice carbonation. Long finish. A tad boring this one, but nice. 150615
