50cl Fles van REWE Wolfratshausen. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Tarwe, banaan, licht kruidig, vinkt keurig alle hokjes aan maar is vrij dun en weinig overtuigend. Lichte body. OK.

"Leichtes Hefe-Weißbier" von Karg, Murnau, Flasche aus der Getränketanke, Kochel am See. - Helles Goldbraun; nach Aufrühren des Bodensatzes in der Flasche auch milchig-trüb im Glas wenngleich von sparsamer Schaumbildung. - In der Nase schlankes, blaß karamelliges Weizenmalz, erfrischende zarte Säure und gar nicht so knappe herbale und orangenbittere Hopfung. - Antrunk dünn aber doch hefeweich weizenmalzig mit leiser Karamelnote, nur einem Hauch von Banane und an den dünnen Körper angepaßter milder Hopfung. Spritzig rezent. Im Abgang leise Herbe. - Schönes, erfrischendes Sommerbier mit sehr schlankem Körper aber nicht ganz uninteressanter Hopfung; mir fast lieber als die üblichen drögen Weizenbiere..

Bottle from Appellation Wine. Deep golden body with a light haze and a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of straw and flowers. Flavour of grain, bread and earthy, peppery hops. Medium body with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Liquid bread. This is excellent.

Das dunkle Weizen vom Karg, aus der Flasche (Flaschengärung) im Brauereigasthof in Murnau. - Ein spritziges, angenehm herb-fruchtiges Hefeweizen, das sich nur durch eine feine Kaffeenote von einem hellen Weizenbier unterscheidet. - Angenehm aber nicht herausragend, anders als die Haxen beim Karg, die wirklich einsame Spitzenklasse sind! Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is estery yeast with banana, wheat, clove, citrus, orange, and some welcome hoppy notes. Flavour is sweetish with a light bitterness. Body is medium. On the hoppy / citrussy side of Hefeweizen, nice one!

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is wheat, yeast, banana, bubblegum & floral-ish hops, clove, and citrus. Flavour is medium sweet with a relatively firm hoppy bitterness in the finish. Body is above medium, nicely thick for the style. Boldly hopped Weizen, really enjoyable.
