Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick burnt orange color with a finger and a half of white frothy head which tapered off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: peachy/apricot-like hops bombard some piney to citrusy hops then a super light clean maltiness underneath
Flavor: leads with a huge amount of those peachy/apricot hops which seems to mesh more with the piney and citrusy hop tones then the malts which seem to just remain as an afterthought in the taste but there is a subtle blend to all of this as all the hops seem to not be overbearing in any sense of overly bitter; finishes with the peachy/apricot to citrusy hop tones
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness but also some sharpness from the hop bitterness - not "too overbearing" at least for me but I think I could see how some people might think some of the bitterness "might" be excessive
Overall: well, I liked this one for me but I know a couple of my friends thought this was overly bitter.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale yellow cardboard haziness with a two finger white frothy head which trailed off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: grapefruity and pineapple-y juicy hop tones up front with a nice clean biscuity malt tone in the back ground
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes grapefruity with a touch of more of a piney sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of dryness rolling along the tongue
Overall: not a bad attempt at a NEIPA, perhaps I could return to this.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: soft burnt orange to copper color with a two and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light melon/peachy to grapefruity and light green pepper hop notes; light clean malts underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes leaning into some semi-dry tones of the peachy to grapefruity and green peppery sort of aspects
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to the medium part; somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice enough NEIPA I think I could come back to; might have to get use to a "green pepper" hoppy tone though which is often not a hop quality I normally get in IPA's.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: still the same "hazy burnt orange" like in Tribute but now a slight transparency about it; and now a two finger white foamy head to this beer which settled off nicely to leave a little bit of lace
Aroma: the piney hops are there but lighter and the citrusy hops are also lighter than in Tribute
Flavor: like in Tribute the hops are about the same taste but lighter in this beer with a kinder finish here of a softer resinous/piney stickiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; still the slick/oily tone like in Tribute but now also a bit lighter in that respect
Overall: I think 14th Start did what they said they were going to do and yes this is a just a "downsized" Tribute and one I would return to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: bright yet pale yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which tapered off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy to piney - (somewhat spruce-like) hops up front with a light biscuity malt backbone
Flavor: intertwines the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes semi-dry with a little bit of hop spice and piney note
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with a light bit of hop assertiveness - mostly non-offensive
Overall: not a bad NEPA and one I believe I could return to.

Appearance: copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed citrusy to orangey and piney hops up front with a light clean caramel/toffee malt tone
Flavor: mixes on up the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet character; finishes citrusy and piney with a touch of dry
Texture: light to medium bodied, semi-sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of hop bitterness assertiveness - acceptable/nothing overbearing
Overall: nice enough DIPA I could possibly return to.

Appearance: yelow to copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity clean malts with a light floral hoppiness
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine malty sweet to floral sweet quality; finishes semi-crisp through floral and malty tones
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, good smoothness, nice carb level
Overall: pretty good, I believe I could return to this.

Can to nonic.
Appearance: pours medium brown color but leaves more of a dark brown to black color in the glass then a khaki foamy head about a finger's worth then settled patiently to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted malts, coffee roast, coffee beans, milk chocolate, dark chocolate and some vanilla
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas nicely roasty and sweetly; mild aftertaste of vanilla and roasted coffee beans
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under, some kind of sessionability about this, medium flow of roastiness along the tongue; finishes roasty, toasty and a touch of vanilla
Overall: nicely done vanilla porter, part of me was wondering if the vanilla was gonna be like extract or possibly artificial but that's a sure negative as it's as authentic as vanilla can be.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: golden transparent yellow in color with a one finger white foamy head, dissipated to leave some messy lace
Aroma: oily to grassy hoppiness, white bread, touch of herbal tones underneath
Flavor: oily sweet with the grassy hoppiness then mostly hop oily aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, oily semi-dry and grassy finish
Overall: another one of these Italian pilsners that I find to be interesting, yeah, I think I could come back to this.

Appearance: milky orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated to leave some messy lace
Aroma: grapefruity/citrusy hop blend with some clean malts
Flavor: bittersweet blend between the prior noted aromas, mild bittersweet citrusy aftertaste
Texture: between light and medium bodied, great sipper, citrusy to malty finish
Overall: nicely done NEIPA well worthy of returning to.
