50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and caramelish. Toffee and mild alcohol presence. Sweet caramelish and light bitter hoppy. Ends dry and bitter into the finish.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. Some pale malts in the aroma, with sugary maltyness, fruits and a touch of pine cones. It’s pretty warm on the palate, semi dry and quite bitter, with pine cones, grass and pale malts. Full body. Lasting finish with warmth and bitterness. Not very pleasant this one, although I like the hoppyness. 140228

Flaske fra Kvickly på Nørrebro, sammen med Aske og Fredrik: en løfterik start på en hyggelig kveld som endte på Ølbaren i Elmegade. Frisk og akkurat passe humlesyrlig, og "inspired pale ale" som det står på etiketten er (for en gnags skyld) en helt treffende beskrivelse. Well done!
