Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of pineapple and blueberry. Taste is boozy heat, ripe fruit. Warming finish. A little rough maybe.

Can ordered from Tap Door on-line. Aroma is sweet and malty. Maple syrup. Bitter edge. Dark brown. Waxy. Thick foamy beige head. Flavourwise we have a bitter boozy streak, as to be expected from the barrel aging. This cuts through the sugary maple syrup. Underlying chunky malts. Light-medium bodied. Creamy if thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Nice enough but the booze somewhat obscures the other elements.
