Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop, well in date. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, malt. Taste is grassy bitter, more pine and citrus. Clean finish, if unexciting.

Bottle. That grocers in Cley, Norfolk. Clear deep ruby red. Slim dense beige head. Light roast. Some vine fruit. Bit of burnt caramel. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. A bit thin overall with moderate bitterness to finish. Ok. A tad sterile.

Cask at Babington Arms, Derby. Pours “bitter brown” with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Floral hops and oranges in the aroma plus some grassy hints. In the mouth it’s sweet and zesty but with some underlying bitterness. Floral hops and malts to the fore at the start, but later autumn fruits come through alongside traces of spice and peanuts. Finish is hopps with increased bitterness and some fruity vibes. This is a decent best bitter.

Appearance: Fogged deep gold with a decent off-white head. Aroma and taste: Biscuit malt, honey, floral hop, grass. Rather dry. Hoppy. Medium bitter. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: Decent.

Canned (from KCM Kivihaka, Vaasa). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, some caramel, fruity and floral tones. Flavour is toffee, some fruity, floral and mild wooden bitterness. Quite a nice bitter kick in the finish.

Can (from KCM Ideapark, Seinäjoki). Amber colour with a small slightly off-white foamy head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some sweet malts with mild toffee and herbs. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild sweet wooden and toffeeish tones with a nice mellow bitterness to it.
