Description
Lord Conrad’s was established in 2007 as a home brewer and moved to Dry Drayton in 2011, using a 2.5-barrel plant. One permanent outlet is supplied, the Black Horse, Dry Drayton, along with other local free houses and beer festivals. The brewery adheres strongly to green principles, using low energy systems, recycled materials and local ingredients. All beers are available cask-conditoned and bottle-conditioned with a varying selection available in keg.

ABV: 4.0%. Clear medium to light orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, butterscotch, pine - citrus touch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, butterscotch, fruity hops, pine - citrus touch. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Peterborough Beer Festival 2023. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are full on sweet coconut. Light crisp body.

11/2/2022. Cask at the 12th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is lemony, herbal, lemon cheesecake, hint of coconut, a little dishwater. Medium to heavy sweetnes, light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Clammy finish. Not a hit with us.

11/2/2022. Cask at the 12th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, berries, rye, tart coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium sour. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bitter chocolate and rye finish. Liked this. Stand out Lord Conrad beer at the festival.
