A deep dark porter with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light fusel, still solid.

Can: Poured a clear golden color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light dry floral hops notes is quite nice. Taste is also a good mix of clean cereal notes with some floral dry hops notes with a dry clean finish. Body sui about average with good carbonation. Highly drinkable lager with nice Saaz notes.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes with light mango and tropical fruit notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of citrusy notes with some tropical fruit notes and some light mango with some residual sugar notes perceptible. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with right level of residual sugar notes but hops notes could even more predominant.

Olfactif aux notes de croute de pain baguette relevant un léger fruité en arrière-plan. Notes houblons surannés perçues. La Saaz serait-il passé date? Mousse semi-crémeuse sur un liquide doré partiellement voilé et très effervescent. Les notes de pain sont bien en bouche mais manquent de profondeur et de richesse. Le petit fruité de levure est agréable. Le Saaz est présent en fin de bouche et nous donne une amertume herbacée avec une douce âpreté. Le suranné perçu en olfactif est moins présent en bouche mais il demeure néanmoins en toile de fond. Le corps est assez ample et la carbonatation modérée. Assez ordinaire. Richesse et complexité des malts en deçà de la moyenne. Le Saaz est bien présent mais s’exprime difficilement. Ça s’améliore chez Gallicus mais il y a encore du chemin à faire. A hazed blonde IPA with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with light pungent resinous hops, dank notes, juicy and citrusy. In mouth, sweet fruity biscuit malt wit light watermelon, resinous hops, very nice. Can from IGA Famille Charles, 6 months old.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some strong coconut notes is enticing. Taste is a nice mix of coconut notes with some sweet black chocolate with some residual sugar notes. Body is a bit thinner then expected with some good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. Very enjoyable but fuller body would have been even better.

Superb saison with great yeast strain and nice floral hops notes with great drinkability.

Can: Poured a deep cloudy pink color ale with a large foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of cassis and blackberry is dominant but some floral hops notes are also noticeable. Taste is a mix of sour cassis and blackberry notes with some floral undertones and just enough residual sugar to provide a smooth aftertaste. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid mix of sur notes with loads of fruits and some hoppy notes.

Can: Poured a black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate notes with some vanilla and pastry like notes is enticing. Taste is a nice mix of sweet chocolate notes with vanilla notes and nuts/carrot notes are very subtle with some cinnamon discernible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable pastry stout with good balance and good drinkability for the style.
