Bottle: Poured a deep bright amber color ale with a nice huge bubbly head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of grainy malt with light lemon notes is not very promising. Taste is also dominated by lemon notes with some grainy unrefined malt backbone and very little else to report. Body is average with good carbonation. I know the brewery is relatively new so I will have to try this again but this is not very promising.

Glass, 4-ounce, draught, during the Festibière de Gatineau, savoured on June 1 2014; eye: golden with a coppery hue, lightly hazy, tiny ring of off-white head; nose: malt, caramel, citrusy, banana, light hops; mouth: malt, caramel, citrusy, banana, light hops, light acridness, citrusy finale with light presence of acridness, medium body, good carbonation, lightly bitter, slightly sweet, lightly acrid texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Verre, 4 onces, en fût, lors du Festibière de Gatineau, savourée le 1 juin 2014; œil : dorée avec une teinte cuivrée, légèrement voilée, petit anneau de mousse blanc cassé; nez : malt, caramel, citronnée, banane, léger houblon; bouche : malt, caramel, citronnée, banane, léger houblon, légère âcreté, finale citronnée avec légère présence d’âcreté, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, légèrement amère, très légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement âcre; en résumé : correct

A hazed golden amber ale with a very thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light herbal hops, lightly vegetable notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light herbal hops, light berries, OK. On tap at Brewery.
