Can shared at Juova, Helsinki.
The beer poured hazy and orange. Ripe fruity notes, some grapefruit and citrus.
Smooth and full bodied. Not really showing Nelson though.

Pours black, no head. Scent is full, mild maple, some vanilla. Taste is full, roasty, harsh, ashy almost. Thin. Maple and vanilla way hidden. Bit of a dissapointement.

Murky dark yellow colour, small white head. Tropical fruity aroma has straw and suprisingly peach aromas. Medium to full-bodied. Starts with alcohol, overriped tropical fruits, peach, lime citrusness. Mellow with some alcoholic bitterness. Not sweet but fruityness with citrus. Well-brewed.

Can. A hazy yellowish gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, seemingly bringing the dryness, a light creamy sweetness imparted. The second Southern Cross dipa of the night. This one again emphasises the lemon character of this hop. Slightly tangy and rounded lemon here, not rounded enough to hide a little citric sharpness but, nowhere near the face inverting touch of raw lemon. Some pleasant lemongrass on the back end. Soft cooling pine throughout. A light and semi dry finish. Yeah. This hop seems to have come in to a maturity in 2026 and I am digging its unique character. To the brewers reading this rate, ha ha, here is an idea for a dipa. Southern Cross, loadsa Lemondrop, Luminosa and Sorachi Ace. What a wonderful lemon dipa that would be
