Il Microbirrificio Opperbacco nasce nel 2009
grazie alla volontà e alla caparbietà del Mastro Birraio Luigi Recchiuti.

Il birrificio è a Notaresco. Incastonato come una gemma tra i colli Teramani, abbracciato dal Gran Sasso da un lato e dal Mare Adriatico dall’altro con, uliveti, vigne e frutteti a fare da cornice.
L’intero processo produttivo si svolge all’interno di una vecchia stalla riadattata e attrezzata per laproduzione di Birra.

Bottle shared at RBESG ‘19 Grand Tasting at Raven. Brown with no head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, oak and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bevuta in bottiglia. Barley Wine invecchiata in barrique. Ottimi profumi. Forse manca un po' di corpo. Molto buona.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Bruna/nera, schiuma beige a bolle grossolane, discretamente persistente. Al naso note di caffè, cioccolato, leggera liquirizia. In bocca è prettamente amara, con ingresso dolce. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-alta. Non perfettamente in stile, ma discreta.

33cl bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout. F: big, tanned, good retention. C: black, opaque. A: dark malty, some licorice, chocolate, bit coffee, dark dried fruits, cocoa, bit nutty. T: dark malty backbone, chocolate, bit peppery, herbal, dark dried fruits, bit earthy, bit coffee, bit warming alcohol, relatively easy drinkable for ABV, medium dry on the palate, medium body and lower carbonation, quite nice, fully enjoyed.
