Il Microbirrificio Opperbacco nasce nel 2009
grazie alla volontà e alla caparbietà del Mastro Birraio Luigi Recchiuti.

Il birrificio è a Notaresco. Incastonato come una gemma tra i colli Teramani, abbracciato dal Gran Sasso da un lato e dal Mare Adriatico dall’altro con, uliveti, vigne e frutteti a fare da cornice.
L’intero processo produttivo si svolge all’interno di una vecchia stalla riadattata e attrezzata per laproduzione di Birra.

Bottle at home. Hazy light brown colour. A lot of fruity sweetness in the nose along with grains which reminds me of pasta. Slightly aromas of vanilla. Mild flavours but rich, with grapefruit, yeast, spices and some malt sweetness. Medium bitterness and somewhat a dry ending. A good tripel with nice flavours.

14/12/2011 La Tana (tap) & 330ml bottle @home. Ambrata, chiara, limpida, schiuma biancastra non molto persistente. Aroma intenso agrumato, erbaceo, floreale, lieviti, malto, note fruttate. In bocca ha un attacco tipico da tripel e un finale fortemente luppolato da IPA, raggiungendo un mirabile equilibrio. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Un delle migliori e più originali birre italiane.

11712/2011 La Tana (tap). Dorata, bellissima, schiuma morbida, abbastanza abbondante e persistente. Naso splendido, speziato, note floreali di sambuco e fruttato delicato, con note di ananas e pesca. In bocca è moderatamente amara, non molto lunga ma di una bevibilità assurda! Corpo leggerino, carbonazione soft. Concordo appieno, non è una saison.

Bottle 750ml. @ DOT-E Christmas Party.Clear medium yellow orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grape, peach, wood, white wine notes. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111118]

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with hintso f citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

6/11/2011 75cl bottle from Gradi Plato @ Klaas' place - BB: 12/2012 (2011-633)

Cloudy red copper beer, very creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive with nice lacing. Aroma: exotic fruits, pineapple, passion fruit, bit piny, resin, sweet touch. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: bitter fruity touches, piny, sweet malts, some alcohol, canned peaches. Aftertaste: bitter resin, fruity, dry, more passion fruit and pineapple, grapefruit, very bitter ending.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ].Unclear medium brown red colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, wood, sweet tobacco smoke notes, vanilla notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, bread, wood, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110917]
