Bottled. Deep brown colour, close to black, with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquoice, alcohol, roasted malts and some slight coffee to it. Flavour is chocolate, alcohol, liquorice, some alcohol, roast and mild ripe fruits with some slight coffee notes. Quite ashy and roasted in the finish, otherwise nice.

Bottled. Black colour, small head. Aroma is toffee, some figs, raisins, some alcohol and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, toffee and some slight raisins. Overall quite sweet, but also has a nice rum and wooden tone to it.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, raisins, some spruce, mild ripe fruits, figs and some floral notes. Flavour is very sweet malts, alcohol, some rum sweetness, raisins, fruits and mild toasted and sweet malts. Somewhat dry. Good sipper.

Bottled. Black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is roast, some ripe fruits, dark dry fruits, chocolate, wood and some mild vanilla. Flavour is very similar to the elements in the aroma, but also has some alcohol and mild rum sweetness to it.

Sample (had as Midtfyns Jubilæums Øl (Personaleforeningen Meny) - Barley Wine Rum Barrel Aged, thanks fonefan!). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet ripe fruity tones, mild alcohol and very madeira like. Flavour is like Madeira wine, some sweetness and not much else. Oxidized, in a good way.
