50 cl bottle, poured into a Snifter. Near black with a thin tanned head. Sweet roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, toasted bread, herbal hoppy notes. Some dry wooden notes. Taste is roasted bitter. Full body, oily texture. Bitter roasted finish. Old school Imp. Stout before everything went pastry.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear bronze colour, minimal head. Intense rum aroma. Sweetish with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Rum and brown sugar, some raisins. Mature and starting to dry out. Intense peppery warming finish. Not really all that complex, but the rum flavour is exquisite.

Bottle, 12.0% as 1423 Rum Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout 2016. Peaty aroma, hint of burnt plastic, malt syrup, some alcohol warmth. Black colour. Looks oily. Very small light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet with vinous notes and vanilla. Late sweet liquorice aftertaste. Vinous rum notes with hints of peat. Some alcohol bitterness, but also good, warm alcohol notes.
