Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. An orange-golden beer topped by a small, off-white to beige head. The aroma has a west-coast like citrusy, malty-sweet touch, with some bready scents to fill in the blanks. Malty, bready sweet flavor with hops giving resin, citrus and some tea, and of course bitterness. A bit sweet finish, but with bitterness to cope with it. Full body. A quite decent beer, not lovely, but a beer you can down a few of. As a sidenote I have to question the decicion to make a beer for the blind, at almost 7% ABV. I guess they have enough difficulties finding their way without downing a few beers at this strenght. 091022

Colour is black. Head is large but doesn’t last long. Nose is fairly sweet and roasty with notes of charcoal. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet liquorice, roasted malt and some coffee. Bitter charcoal finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Very balanced but not overly exciting.

Pours hazy amber with a thick head. Aroma is hops and sweet toffee. Flavour is sweet toffe, butter scotch, hops and a little bit of liquorice. After taste is quite sweet and has notes of hazel nuts and bitter hops. This beer feels like the bastard son of a barley wine and a double IPA.
