Draught @ Klub Malých Pivovarů, Pilsen. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with mild hoppy notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malt. Estery and acidic aftertaste with hoppy notes and some metallic hints. Not bad for the style and quite tefreshing as such. Still, a bit watery, and I do not quite fancy the metallic notes.

At Butcher's Tears Czech beer event. Dark brown colour. Dense rocky beige head with good retention. Aroma's: fruity and caramel. Retronasal it's fruity, grainish, light caramel. Flavour is caramel sweetish with light (fruity?) sourness (possible infection). Light bodied. Soft carbonation. Finishes rather bitter eventually.

Tasting glass from bottle @ U Kunštátů in Prague.Black, little tanned head. Nose is dark berries & umami syrup, thick. Interesting taste of this umami brambleberry syrup, low roast, herbal, super thick especially compared to other similar Czech beers almost bit much with the heavy umami but overall very neat.

Bottle at Pivovarsk Klub, pours a crystal clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light cereal grains, with a touch of crisp cracker. Flavour is crisp, with biscuity malt and very restrained grassy hops. Pretty unsophisticated and lacking depth. Not a superior Czech pils.
