On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a “guinness look-alike” cream head. Aroma is just vague roasted malts. Initial impressions in the mouth are of the bitterness but gradually liquorice, roast malts, caramel and vanilla come through. Texture is smooth and creamy. Quite a nice beer but seemed to lack a certain sparkle.
