Tap@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen (04/09/2021) - light hazed amber pour with a white head. Fruity with notes of mango and tangerine, sweet fruity, citrus rind, pretty sweet, sweet malty, medium body, fruited hoppy finish. Ok.

Bottle @Birrifugio Trastevere (Rome). Bruna/rosso profondo, intensa, schiuma avorio media. Al naso note di malto, caramello ,frutta matura, leggero tostato, erbaceo. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, con bilanciamento amaro in chiusura perfetto. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione media. Non male.

Pours a nice, transparent, deep red to light brown, with a fluffy, quite dense, off-white/yellowish head. Good retention and very nice lacing. Not very potent aroma shows a well balanced mix of caramel sweetness, light toasted notes, delicate fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, with a slight bittering edge in a relatively dry finish. Taste notes as per aroma, plus a earthy feel in both taste and aftertaste. Certainly more bitter tha a classic irish red. Medium body, surely bigger than yuo would expect from the abv, with average carbonation. The nitro gives this a quite creamy mouthfeel, that possibly doesn't fit too well with a beer that has a bit of lively feel from the carbonation. Overall, this is distant from a classic irish red ale. I was not impressed, both in terms of flavour (not very deep or strong) and in terms of the idea behind this beer (nitro red? meh...). Still, a very decent drinker.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of coffee and caramel, and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of yeast and touches of caramel malt. Roasty and coffeelike aftertaste. Decent. Not watery, which is one of the most significant features og a good stout for me.

Dark brown and translucent with a rocky beige head. Light aroma, some chocolate with some charcoal. Sweet taste with more chocolate and a fleeting suggestion of liquorice. Heavy carbonation rushes through the balanced finish. Yum, quite happy with this.

Nearly opaque reddish brown beer, fizzy tan head. Hefty aroma of spirits and malt. Flavour has toasty malt, a little anise, dark chocolate, bourbon, some dried fruit. Rich, smooth, toasty finish, tastes boozy and warm without having the alcohol burn. I like this a lot
