Pours gold from the bottle. Aroma is hay and, lightly, sweet malt. Taste is a bland maltiness set against a light sweetness, probably from the corn, with a mild bitterness at the finish. Light bodied with above average carbonation. Decent.

Forst Sixtus (Doppelbock, IT, 6.5%)
33 cl bottle. Mahogany-red color, big, thick creamy beige head, roasted smell. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and burnt wood, a shadow of plum. Taste is sweetish with a prominent bitter end down the throat, smooth finish, average persistence, lighly warming. Medium to thick body, oily texture, average carbonation. Quite refined and appreciated, not a pure malt one btw.

Clear golden colour, white head. Malty aroma, hay. Quite bitter flavour, malts, hops. Malty finish, bitter hops. Not a bad lager, actually.
