Canned, from Systembolaget. Almost clear dark mahogany colour, minimal head. Rich aroma of caramel, dates and grappa. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and lots of grappa, notes of cedar. Peppery finish. The grappa flavour dominates, so it is not suoer complex, just damn good and unique!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of toast and red wine, Tart with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Red wine and mild vinegar, some dark bread. Very interesting.

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt, walnuts, oak, notes of alcohol and some orange. The same in the taste, also romrussin and some licorice. Not bad but a bit thin.

Burk från SB. Mörkbrun/mahogny med beige krona. I basen en dekadent och kladdig BW med hög sötma. Toner av druvor, russin, katrinplommon, likörpralin, mandel och mandelmassa. Grappan tydlig. Spritig ton, mycket druvor, fattoner, tanniner som stramar åt den annars kladdiga kroppen något. Möjligen lite lacknafta.

I’ve heard there might be some can differences here but what I got was delicious. Malts for days and a ton of BA that for me comes of as cognac/brandy which seems correct grape wise but not what I’d expect of grappa. Haven’t had anything grappa BA though.
