Refreshing. --- Beer aliased from original tick of The Pilsner on 06 Oct 2013 at 20:19 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Pours gold with a fading head.Nose shows spicy, earthy and herbal hops along with some lemony notes.Pretty similar flavours, but hoppier. More herbal notes and light malt with a grainy hint.Could use a bit more carbonation.Pretty decent attempt at a bohemian pilsner!

375ml can. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a huge, fluffy, long lasting, white head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet aroma of lemon, orange, biscuit malt, cloves, yeast and light floral. Sweet flavour of lemon, grapefruit, biscuit malt and pepper in a dry, tart, bitter grass finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

Can. Hazy pale gold with a white scant rim and island head. 3 Aroma of dough, spices bitter orange, gooseberry, dough, cloves and white pepper. Piercing. Light bodied for 10.5% - even for 7%. Moderate to low carbonation. Lots of fruit and spices - the citrus, dough and spices are the main game, but some tropical and kiwi fruity notes fit in there too. Some pine too. Not all that sweet and what sweetness there is is rather sugary. Alcohol is not overt. Strong bitter finish. Expected this to be loud and trashy but it’s maybe more focused on fruity things than it wants to be. Thought this might be a mire crass, but not at all. Pretty good.
