Can - Light earthy and spicy hops with biscuit. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Light earthy hops and a dry finish. OK, but I don’t really get the fruity notes, may be a bit old.

From a 375ml can on 11/7/2016. Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small head. The aroma features sweet fruit, orange zest, mild Belgian yeast and a touch of spice. Sweet fruit (pear, peach and orange) get things under way taste wise, followed by some light spice and yeast, a bit of lemon and grapefruit, finished off by some pretty big hops. Really nicely balanced and exceptionally refreshing for something that weighs in at 10.5%. The palate is slightly syrupy and the carbonation is average. A really well made, interesting tripel.

On tap at the Australian Brewery, pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse yeast and light biscuity malt. Flavour is rather dull, with earthy biscuity notes and farmhouse yeast. Not especially effervescent or dynamic, but clean enough. Decent.

On tap at the Australian Brewery, pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats and lightly fruity bready malt. Flavour brings out dark fruity notes, bready malt and cocoa. Pretty weak and not very stout-like. It's okay.
