Description
The Home of Esker is at the Australian Hotel & Brewery in Rouse Hill. Our production facility there has been the only brewery in the Hills Shire for the last 12 years. We believe that all roads will eventually lead you home. Inspired by our home in the Hills Shire of Sydney, we craft beers to be enjoyed on that journey.

Beers rebranded from Australian Hotel & Brewery to Esker late 2022/early 2023.

(Can ) Pours black with good, but short lived, tan head. Nice Porter aroma - dark roast malt with hints of charred wood. Medium body and well carbonated. Great taste balancing the dark bitter notes of the Porter with maple sweetness. The dark burnt bitter notes dominated in the finish. Very enjoyable.

(Can) Pours clear amber brown with no head. Subtle aroma - caramel, with stone fruit and floral hints. Medium body, smooth, creamy with modest fine carbonation. Fruity start with hint of sherbet. Sweet light caramel and creaminess. Rich. No bitterness. Pleasant enough but a bit odd.

Can from Natural Lawson. Light and fruity aroma, lemon. Taste is similar, quite nice, but lacking something. Lemony hops again, bit of biscuit, but the whole thing feels quite light and airy. Easy drinking but would have preferred it with a bit of a kick.

Can split at CBC Islington, thanks to the Wingman, 12/09/18. Pale yellow with a decent off white covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is slightly sulphuric, lime leaf, grass, straw. Taste comprises lime cordial, tangy citric peel, sharp lemon, straw, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok Radler but doesn't knock on the door of the sincere camp !

Can shared in London - cheers to Dave. Pours super clear, very pale yellow, with a soft white foam. Not bad, sugary, ripe lemon, a little lime zest, white sugar. Light bodied, a little oily, with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, not quite enough citric tang. Tasty enough.
