Tap at BGB, thx Gurthnar! Clear golden body, off-white head. Dank aroma, lemon, stone fruit notes. Smooth, sweetish taste, toothpasteish-minty somehow, dank, oniony, with low bitterness. Not sure I love the body, too sweetish for the style, but it's 'kay overall.

Tap at BGB, thx Gurthnar! Hazy pale yellow body, off-white head. Huge ginger & vodka aroma, somehow. Extremely sour, dry taste, ginger and lemon, simple but kinda okay.

Canned 3/19/26, drunk 4/21/26.
Rich but not too sweet toffee mixing with a fresh, fruity yeast full of mineral and fresh plaster-like notes. Styrian Goldings give their typical lilac-like character to gently balance. Bit of funk from the hop, too. Hint of toasted character on the end. Bright and aromatic throughout.
Toasted malt base adds toffee immediately and there's a touch of roasted character further down, but the immensely soft base malts easily balance it and a good charge of bittering hop finishes the picture nicely. Just a beautifully malty, clean, polished, incredibly flavorful beer putting most beers 2 and 3% abv higher than it to shame. The goldings add their rich spice and herbal character. Lingering malt and bitter hop. Beautiful. Can't get enough Wild East.

Can shared with the Firstep folks, thx Lindsay! Lightly hazy golden body, white ehad. Resinous-forward hoppy aroma, some light citrusy notes - well, it says "West Coast" right on the label! The taste continues in the same direction, mainly resinous and herbal, slightly citric, smooth with a light bitterness. Solid overall!

Canned 5/9/25, drunk 4/8/26.
This thing is VERY carbonated, and it seems the natural sort. Either this is the world's best can conditioning, or it's been refermenting. Thankfully no sign of anything wrong in the nose; bright, spicy hop with rich, white bread and honey from the malt balancing nicely. Super clean, in fact. Lingering wax-like yeast, rich herb and soft honey.
Rich and malty with tight, spritzy carbonation. Lots of honey, baguette and honeysuckle with no huge bitterness but a good variety of flavor from the hops. Malts are deep and supple - almost a year in the can and if this had attenuated some, it must have been pushing it on the sweetness, initially. There's a lot of interesting yeast character, but a year in the can will do that, too. Could stand to be a bit more lager-like, especially on the finish. There's a bit too much fruitiness and rounded edge here (or maybe it just needs to be more dry), but this thing certainly has a LOT of flavor and malt depth for 4.7%.

Can from Ryan I: pours gold with white head. Clean and hefty limey aroma with a nice pale and bready malt backbone. Clean and juicy. Not bitter nor particularly sweet.
