Description
Early in the 21st century, a vision was born. A dream to unite the land of brews, bring harmony to all who pledged their strength… and make some damn good beer. They who had the vision started the journey and thus began the story… nay… the legend of Bombastic Brewing.

Bombastic Brewing began in 2016. Inspired by the scale of Sierra Nevada, the “gypsy” model of Mikkeller, the business model of early Sam Adams, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the world through craft beer, Russell Mann sold his retail beer business and set out to create an interesting craft brewery, built in a different model: Partner Brewing.

He took on two co-founders, and being thwarted from Partner Brewing by Johnny Law, Bombastic pivoted and started brewing on a 30, then 50 gallon system in a garage-style facility by the airport. Bombastic would roll open the big garage doors every Saturday to welcome the brave craft beer enthusiasts who showed up and had a great time, buying out every release.

16 oz from the brewery. Aroma is a little smoky, chocolate, vanilla. Pours black as night with a decent tan head. Taste is moderately sweet , savory, smoky. Not really like a brownie at all, but it’s pretty good.

16 oz from the brewery. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, British style stout. Black pour with a small beige head. Taste is moderately bittersweet with chocolate and coffee flavors. Alcohol is hidden extremely well; tastes like it could be in the 6% range. Nice beer.

It's thin bourbon/port juice. Dangerous abv but not too intriguing to drink, will let it warm up but if I don't update this again then I wish to leave all my belongings to Chelsea W. If my lawyer is reading this yes that was a will and also DNR.

Bomber, thanks Steve from Kilted Growler. Pours inky black with a thin beige head that falls after a minute into a ring. Aromas of chocolate, nuts, cigar ash, dark bread.Taste is moderately bittersweet, faintly tart, finishing really dry with notes of dark chocolate, cigar ash, leather, vanilla, wet stone. The nuttiness is there, but it's a bit faint. Pretty good.

I switch back and forth on the opinion of this being a mess or this being awesome. The double chocolate muffins + chocolate definitely make this dark dark dark, sometimes soy sauce, sometimes more chocolate than the dutchest of chocolates. Warm=good

Can in Boise. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big spicy orange nose. Sweet, toast, citrus, some perfume. Solid. Like a pumpkin spice latte.
